Why is Grace Life International’s Christian Life Counseling Unique?
Grace Life International was founded in 1995 by Mark Maulding as a 501(c)3, non-profit, non-denominational ministry. Our name, “Grace Life International,” is a reflection of our desire to lead Christians around the world into the life-giving power of God’s grace.
We believe God made a unique promise to all mankind called the “New Covenant,” which the Bible tells us occurred when Jesus Christ was crucified on a cross and rose from the dead. The amazing specifics of the New Covenant are found throughout Scripture, such as:
“It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery.” (Galatians 5:1)
“Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.” (2 Corinthians 5:17)
“I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.” (Galatians 2:20)
Walking in the Reality of the New Covenant
After 20 years of providing Christian life counseling for thousands of people, we believe a Christian’s ability to enjoy God, glorify Him, and love others hinges upon walking in the reality of the New Covenant. As we walk in God’s truth, we’re able to experience powerful blessings, such as:
- Our ability to love other people, especially our families, is amplified when we personally receive God’s unconditional acceptance of us.
- Living a godly, fulfilling life becomes natural when we realize Jesus Christ wants to live His resurrected life through us each day.
- God’s truth revealed through Scripture and the Holy Spirit gives Christians the miraculous capability to avoid sinful behavior and overcome destructive habits.
- No matter what level of stress, busyness, or trouble our modern society may bring, God provides the capacity to walk with a deep peace, joy, and contentment.
At Grace Life International, we are excited to share how the New Covenant can transform a Christian’s life forever. We have witnessed remarkable results, such as:
- Hundreds of marriages restored and families reconciled!
- Thousands of individuals healed from depression, destructive habits, and chronic stress!
- Over 500 people trained to disciple others in the freedom of the New Covenant!
The demand for our counseling, training, and resources has exploded. Our staff has grown to over 30 counselors and teachers at two locations in North Carolina, including Charlotte and Asheville. In our offices and online, we serve 100 counseling clients per week. In addition, we provide 18 conferences and 6 advanced discipleship training classes per year.
Our desire is to help individuals, couples, churches, ministries, missionary organizations, and Christian schools embrace the life-changing power of God’s life-giving grace. We work with people across America and internationally in the following three areas: Counseling, Events, and Resources.
