Individual Discipleship Counseling
At Grace Life, we offer a safe place for individual counseling where people can be open and real. Our specialty is discipleship counseling, which uses the Bible to lovingly help people realize the freedom, healing, and transformation offered to everyone through Jesus Christ.
We believe God made a unique promise to all mankind called the New Covenant that occurred when Jesus was crucified on a cross and rose from the dead. Many of our problems are magnified when we aren’t aware of everything God has already done for and to us.
After 25 years of providing Christian counseling to thousands of people, we believe that a Christian’s ability to enjoy God, glorify Him, experience freedom, and love others hinges upon walking in the reality of the New Covenant. Living in the promises of God’s grace can produce dramatic change, such as:

CHRISTIAN COUNSELING FAQ’S
How do I start individual counseling?
To begin discipleship counseling, contact us to set up a consultation, or call our main office in Charlotte, NC at 704-522-9026 or email us.
How long is a counseling session?
Regular counseling sessions are 50 minutes in length. To maximize the time, we ask clients to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment. At times, double sessions may be scheduled to deal with certain issues (with your approval). We also offer intensive 3-day or 5-day counseling on a limited basis.
How much does counseling cost?
Our discipleship counseling services start with an initial consultation. Individual counseling and marital counseling sessions are offered on a sliding monetary scale based on income. Contact us for the details.
What if I have an emergency or need crisis care?
Grace Life International is not equipped for emergency crisis care. Our discipleship counseling process can take time, and people who need emergency care may not be able to wait. If you are in need of crisis care for any reason:

What if I’d like counseling but cannot start right away?
If you’re unsure about counseling or ready but waiting to get an appointment confirmed, we invite you to join our coed Grace Group or MUG (men under grace) Group. These groups are specifically designed to lay a Biblical foundation for you in a safe environment. They are ongoing groups that you can enter at any time regardless of what topic we are discussing that week. Many people begin to experience a measure of freedom and healing in these groups. These currently meet online each week regardless of where you live. Call our main office at 704-522-9024 for details about connecting with one of these groups.
What if I don’t live near any of the Grace Life offices?
We can help no matter where you live! Grace Life offers confidential, online Christian counseling (using Skype, Zoom, etc.) for out-of-area clients who wish to engage with a discipleship counselor on a weekly basis. Our gifted staff has remotely counseled people across America and around the world!
