Satan is real. He hates you and will never stop his mission to influence you. Jesus said it this way, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” John 10:10. Satan cannot take away your salvation, but he still wants to destroy you. Jesus, on the other hand, came so you could live as a fully alive child of God. Yet, many Christians are constantly defeated by the unseen powers of Satan’s kingdom without realizing that they can live from their victory in Christ instead.
Could it be that many of the problems you and I experience are attacks on us from our common Enemy? He is constantly using culture’s thinking and our fleshly patterns against us. He also puts thoughts in our minds that sound like us talking, but it’s not us. The good news is this. There is a way to live free in Christ!
The apostle John wrote two amazing truths to encourage us. “Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.” 1 John 4:4 “The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil.” 1 John 3:8b
