Bill and Tonda Layle have been on staff with Grace Life International since 2010. Bill serves as Vice President, the Director of Church Relations, and a discipleship counselor and teacher. Tonda serves in the financial department. Together, they host an annual couples retreat called Marriage by Grace. In addition, Bill speaks locally, nationally, and internationally. Bill is an ordained minister and has a Master’s of Divinity from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary. They are from Michigan where Bill served as the Pastor of Spiritual Formation at Kentwood Community Church for 10 years. During that time, though, Bill and Tonda experienced great sadness and frustration in their marriage. Though they loved God and each other, they could not get to the root of their relational struggles to find healing and freedom. After going to three different Christian counselors, they discovered the message God’s New Covenant, which radically restored and strengthened their marriage. Today, it is evident that God was guiding them through those difficult days to teach them their true identity in Jesus Christ.
Soon after, Bill and Tonda agreed that they wanted to share God’s message with other hurting and hungry Christians. The revelation of His life-giving grace led them to step out in faith with their four boys to become full-time missionaries and join the staff of Grace Life International.
