Mark Maulding is the Founder and President of Grace Life International, which began in 1995. Since beginning with just three staff members, God has grown the ministry to a powerful national and international organization with over 25 wonderful staff.
Mark is the best-selling author of “God’s Best-Kept Secret: Christianity Is Easier Thank You Think.”
Mark is an ordained minister of the gospel and obtained his Master of Divinity from Southwestern Seminary. Mark was a church pastor for 10 years before starting Grace Life International. So, he understands the challenges Christian leaders face as well as the great needs which exist in the congregation.
Mark is married to Ellen, and they have four adult children with one who has special needs. Ellen has spent most of their marriage raising their children, giving care to their child with a disability, and ministering to other women through relational evangelism.
Mark’s passion for fulfilling the mission of leading Christians into the life-giving power of God’s grace arises in great measure from his own experience as a Christian. Though he has had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ since he was nine, he was weighed down for decades with a great sense of inadequacy, discouragement, and failure. Early in his marriage, he told Ellen that he knew something was wrong with his Christian life and if this was all there was to it, he was giving up. It was that very night that God began to show him that He unconditionally loved him because of the power of His grace.
Since then, Mark’s been telling every Christian he knows that God and the Christian life are better than they may have heard! That is why he now speaks, teaches, preaches, and writes about the life-giving power of God’s grace to thousands of people. He also continues to lead Grace Life International’s staff as they counsel and teach many each week. Through all of this, God continues to bring healing, freedom, and transformation to many individuals, marriages, and families.
